A delegation led by Müşerref Tuğçe İPEK, Commercial Attaché of the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Hong Kong, recently visited Cyberport to gain deeper insights into Hong Kong's thriving I&T ecosystem, as well as Cyberport's latest achievements in driving the growth of the I&T industry.

During the visit, Henry Li, Head of Industry Partnership, and Cindy Fung, Associate Director of Corporate Communications & External Relations presented our latest development strategies, incubation accomplishments, and initiatives to promote international collaboration.

The delegation also toured the Digital Tech Centre and the Low-Altitude Economy (LAE) Application Exhibition Hub, where they experienced innovative solutions developed by our community firsthand and gained a deeper understanding of the LAE ecosystem, its application scenarios, and future development potential.

Cyberport Fully Supports Hong Kong’s First Five-Year Plan and Policy Address to Accelerate I&T Development

Cyberport welcomes the announcement by the Chief Executive, Mr John Lee, today (16 September) of the First Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (2026-2030), together with the 2026 Policy Address. These provide a clear blueprint for Hong Kong’s future I&T development and economic growth, reflecting the HKSAR Government’s strategic vision in proactively aligning with the National 15th Five-Year Plan.

As Hong Kong’s digital tech hub, AI accelerator, State-level Scientific and Technological Enterprise Incubator, and as one of the city’s three major Innovation and Technology Parks, Cyberport will fully support the development of the new landscape comprising “Three Major Innovation and Technology Parks and Five Key Research and Development Institutions”. Leveraging its role as the flagship for digital technologies in the south and as an AI accelerator, Cyberport will focus on advancing key digital technology sectors, including AI, cybersecurity, blockchain, and FinTech.

Cyberport will also continue to actively serve as a “super connector”, “super value-adder”, and “super converter”, facilitating the efficient convergence of technology, talent, capital, data, and application scenarios. 🤖✨ August Highlights of "AI for All" Inclusive Programme | Letting the Public Experience How AI Enriches Digital Entertainment

During the "AI for All @ DELF" event held in August, Cyberport curated 27 workshops along with a series of practical demonstrations and experiential learning activities through its AI Cultural and Creative Micro-Academy. The event enabled participants to gain hands-on experience with the latest AI-powered creative tools from leading innovators, exploring the practical applications and growth potential of AI across fields such as film production, audio-visual storytelling, interactive game design, and generative AI, and assisting them to:
﹒Deepen their knowledge and understanding of AI;
﹒Understand the benefits AI brings to daily life, including boosting work and study efficiency, sparking creativity, and enriching entertainment experiences;
﹒Enhance their willingness and confidence to use AI technologies.

The event successfully attracted 468 participants and received 270 feedback responses, with attendees giving very high ratings to the trainers, course content, and overall interaction. Once again, it proved that in the era of AI transformation, the best way to learn is through hands-on practice and bold experimentation 💪.
