✨ Designing Impact: SVhk had the pleasure to collaborate with AVPN and Hong Kong Design Centre, bringing together social investors from Northeast Asia and beyond to explore youth wellbeing and impact property!
Gen-Z across Asian cities share a universal need: authentic connections and strong support systems. Action-driven, passionate and determined, they use their personal experience with mental wellbeing as inspirations for different endeavours, which Project Melo's Inky Ip Ryan Ng and Kurt Hui have highlighted in their sharing.
Building solutions and connections goes hand in hand; participants had the opportunity to understand how social innovators have leveraged different mediums such as 1:1 chats and nature to create safe spaces for wellbeing support.
To close off the day, the group also had a tour of the DX design hub, Hong Kong's newest design landmark for emerging creatives, and connect with fellow practitioners based in the Northeast Asia region. While urban challenges vary across cities, the power of authentic connections remains universal. We're excited to see social innovations scale across the region, and bringing everyone together for further insights exchange!
