On August 5, 2026, P Jeremy and PE Kevin took important steps to prepare for a highly anticipated community project “愛在星星親子運動會2026” by arranging a visit to a prominent sports game venue. This initiative is being developed in collaboration with the Tender Loving Care Charity Association Limited, an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.

The core objectives of this event are focused on promoting equal opportunities for participation in sports programs specifically designed for individuals who possess a Disability Registration Certificate and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). By creating a welcoming and accessible environment, the event seeks to provide these individuals with the chance to engage in various athletic activities, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment within the community.

Through this collaborative effort, the OC aims to break down barriers and create a culture of inclusivity in sports, ensuring that every member of the community, regardless of their abilities, can experience the joy and benefits of sports participation. Mr Tony Lam, who was invited as luncheon guest speaker of Rotary Club of The Peak on 7 July 2026 to share his professional background and affiliations with industry bodies non-profit organizations. He introduced the “Tender Loving Care Charity Association Limited” which was established in 2019 and became a charitable organization in 2022 (Inland Revenue Department file number: 91/17348). It is a non-religious, non-political, and non-profit charity whose mission is to uphold the concept of inclusion and to encourage and transform the lives of beneficiaries and people with disabilities through education, arts, and sports.

The key vision to ensure that people with physical and mental disabilities, chronic illnesses, cancer, and terminal illnesses have equal opportunities to participate in education, arts, and sports programs. Beneficial members are all holders of a “Disability Registration Certificate,” “Special Educational Needs” (SEN), chronic illness, cancer, or related documentation.

Last Tuesday (30 June 2026) marked a momentous milestone as we officially installed the 2026-27 President Jeremy Lam, leading with 33rd Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of the Peak! 🥂

We extend our deepest gratitude to our 2025-26 IPP Jaye Chiu and his 32nd Board members. Thank you for unwavering dedication, impactful service, and outstanding leadership over the past year. You have set a phenomenal foundation for us to build upon.

As we embrace this new Rotary year, we look forward to pushing boundaries, strengthening our community, and creating lasting change.
