Once upon a time there were Festivals.
One of the greatest expression of the human culture.
Special places where people from all countries, kind and color come together to co-create, learn, play, dance, share, love. Unique moments of connection and inspiration where travellers and dreamers, artists and dancers, builders, performers, presenters, kids, olds, men, women bring beautiful and colourful differences to celebrate unity.
We Are One.

Festivals celebrate connection and creativity and so we did at Cosmic Convergence Festival, imagining and practicing new possible ways of being together, exploring ancient technologies, celebrating the encounter of Mayan culture with contemporary sustainable lifestyles.

Cosmic Social Outreach brought some of the magic happening at the Cosmic Convergence outside the festival, in the form of beautiful natural buildings donated to the local community of Lake Atitlan.

In this video we share our last adventure.
In January, we transformed the bamboo structures of Journey Portal area into a playground library donated to the Biblioteca Comunitaria Rija'tzuul Na'ooj in San Juan la Laguna. A journey made of solidarity, art, sustainability, fun, bamboo, cultural exchange and more, where all participants shared, learned and grew as never before.

We believe in a different world, where human societies and Nature cohexist in harmony.
We put that belief into practice and we believe that this is the seed of the new world we want to build.

Festivals will be back.
We will be back, with bigger outreach and greater impact.

Love.

The bamboo library extention was built and donated in January 2020 within the community library “RIJA‘TZUUL NA’OOJ” of San Juan La Laguna,…

EMERGENCY AID NEEDED - Cosmic Family is requesting your support for the people of San Marcos.

In San Marcos La Laguna, an unknown number of people are missing and 4 have been confirmed dead after a rock landslide buried over a dozen houses and destroyed many more. The hundreds of members of the local Mayan community are now being evacuated from their homes and many have lost all of their possessions. Rescue teams are moving in to search for survivors and our friend organization has created a campaign. There is an immediate need for funds to cover costs of disaster management, medical services, food, and temporary lodging. To spread this message, please comment on this post, share in your networks and donate if you can. Please support the cause a upt gf.me/u/y32kd5

A Beautiful Journey

Since 2015, Cosmic Convergence Festival is being partnering with organizations around Lake Atitlan in order to make a positive impact in the Mayan community hosting the festival. The first edition volunteers from the festival painted the school Chukmuk. The second year a bamboo structure was donated to Maya Utz’iil, a community centre hosting the indigenous women textile cooperative, Lemà. Last year a yurta was donated to the children of the school Chukmuk in Santiago. For the 2018 edition, we built Journey Portal and Art Gallery through a 15 days intense workshop. Money raised and bamboo used have been fully donated to build 3 ecohouses for economically disadvantaged families in San Pablo la Laguna. FOLLOW US AND GET INVOLVED! -
