The State Cabinet approved a ₹7,834 crore investment for 2026-29 across four CM Comprehensive Schemes. These include:
* CM Comprehensive State Road Development Plan (CMCSRDP) Phase-II (₹2,334 Cr): Upgrading district headquarters, township roads, and Capital Complex roads for enhanced connectivity.
* CM Comprehensive State Rural Road Development Programme (CMCSRRDP) (₹2,000 Cr): Providing all-weather connectivity to previously unserved habitations.
* CM Comprehensive State Power Development Programme (CMCSPDP) (₹2,000 Cr): Modernizing power infrastructure for reliable electricity.
* Mission Shiksh*t Arunachal Phase-II (₹1,500 Cr): Improving infrastructure, teacher development, and learning outcomes in education.
The Cabinet also approved the Arunachal Human Capital & Economic Transformation Vision 2036, aiming to make Arunachal a hub for talent and innovation. By 2036, goals include skilling 1 lakh youth, creating 10,000 entrepreneurs, facilitating 10,000 apprenticeships, enabling 10,000 overseas placements, building 100 industry partnerships, and transforming all 10 ITIs into Modern Skill Hubs.
To boost public service, 36 new ASI posts were approved for the 1st and 2nd Arunachal Armed Police Battalions (AAPBn).
Additionally, the Arunachal Pradesh Apiculture and Honey Policy, 2026, was approved to establish the State as a leader in scientific beekeeping and premium honey production, empowering farmers and women SHGs, and promoting "Arunachal Honey" globally.
