On this day in 1987, the Erasmus Programme was born. For many European students, the Erasmus Programme is their first time living and studying in another country. Despite this, it is about cultural exchange, mobility growth, having your best friends worldwide.
Happy 34th birthday Erasmus Programme, thanks for giving us this chance to be members of this network! 🤩🎂

Critical thinking improves students' flexibility and learning skills. We don’t know to what extent technology will change by the time young people finish school. Acquiring the skills of critical thinking and problem solving will prepare them to learn and adapt faster and to keep up to date with relevant changes in their areas of study.
Critical thinking makes education less passive and more interactive. Teaching students how to critically approach any topic leads to the topic becoming relevant to them. It helps them better understand and focus more on a given topic and its significance for their lives and makes them feel like active participants.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills increase academic success. Instead of relying on teachers and classroom time for teaching and guidance, students who have acquired critical thinking skills become independent and self-directed.
Critical thinking is the foundation of science and a liberal-democratic society. Science requires the critical use of reason in the process of experimenting and validating theory. The proper functioning of liberal democracy requires citizens who are able to think critically about social problems to make informed decisions about proper governance and overcome bias and prejudice.
