They are asking the government to extend the planting for food and job program to them, they are ready to farm in large quantities if the government is ready to help them with fertilizers, tractors, and load.

The Farmers in Ziope traditional Area Sold Tomatoes for 1000ghc per Box.

Climate change and other factors that affected most of the farms in the area also affected the price of a box of tomatoes. A box of tomatoes 🍅 is now sold from 800ghc to 1000ghc.

Even doe most of the farmers got affected, the price of the tomatoes 🍅 makes the farmers feel happy. God's time is the best.

Ziope traditional area is located at the Volta part of Ghana in the Agotime Ziope District.
The area is the biggest tomatoes 🍅 producing community in Ghana.

ZIOPE DIDN'T PRODUCED TOMATOES IN LARGE QUANTITIES THIS YEAR DUE TO THE CLIMATE CHANGE.

Hmmm! No one can understand God.

Every year from the middle of June to October, the people of Ziope traditional area always harvested tomatoes 🍅 in a large quantity but this year we have a story to tell.

Due to climate changed and other factors, most of the farms do not do well in the areas. Known very well that, Ziope Traditional Area is the largest tomatoes producing community in Ghana and African as a whole, the effect on the farms causes a shortage of tomatoes in Ghana and Africa. The few tomatoes that do well in the area cost for GHC 1500.00 per box, that was three days ago.

Youths who are into farming and borrowed money from money lenders and other places are in debt, food sellers, bars, and Restaurants who also sell more during the season are very quiet.

The youth are calling on the government to assist them to pay their debts.

I wish to announce the death of Stephen Agbeve the best farmer in Agotime Ziope District in 2011. Currently, he has 40 acres of Maze farm, 45 acres of tomatoes farm, and 35 acres okra farm.
