This survey seeks to understand how Ghanaian diaspora communities engage with development initiatives in their home districts, how they receive information, what influences their willingness to support development projects, and what concerns may prevent them from contributing. Your responses will help inform communication, engagement and fundraising approaches under the Assembly-Diaspora Development Partnership (ADDP).
ADDP is an initiative designed to strengthen diaspora participation in local development by creating structured pathways for diaspora communities to contribute to the development priorities of their respective Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs).
The initiative emerged from recommendations under the Integrated Assembly Financing Framework (IAFF), introduced by UNDP Ghana in 2022 to support local governments in strengthening domestic revenue mobilization and accessing innovative financing mechanisms for development.
