This morning, mostly cloudy conditions will prevail over southern Ghana, with mist or fog patches forming over parts of the coastal, mountainous and forested areas whilst partly cloudy conditions dominate the north. Slight rain or drizzle may affect a few places, particularly within the middle sector. As the day goes by, periods of sunshine and cloudiness are expected across the country from late morning into the afternoon. Later, in the day, thunderstorms with rainfall are expected to affect some inland areas of the coastline, middle, transition and northern sectors.

As the day progresses, most areas will experience a mixture of sunshine and clouds, with isolated rain over parts of the middle and the northern sectors from late afternoon into the evening.

NB:A rainstorm observed over northern Nigeria and Benin is propagating slowly westwards and is expected to induce cloudiness and produce thunderstorms with rain over parts of northern Ghana.
