On the 17th of August 2026, Bono East Region has opened camp on, in preparation towards the National Basic Schools Inter Regional Sports Festival in Accra.

The team is expected to depart Techiman to Accra on the 25th of August for competition.

17TH NATIONAL FESTIVAL OF ARTS AND CULTURE FOR BASIC SCHOOLS IN TECHIMAN

17th National Festival of Arts and Culture for Basic Schools commence on the 10th, bringing together young talents from across the country to celebrate Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.

The five-day festival, scheduled from Sunday, 9th to Thursday, 13th August 2026, is being hosted in Techiman in the Bono East Region, with activities taking place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Girls’ Senior High School and Techiman Senior High School.
