URGENT NOTICE

It has come to my attention that a flyer and circular are circulating, encouraging trainees to attend a press conference.

Due to the numerous calls and messages I’ve received from trainees seeking confirmation of this press conference, I find it necessary to inform you that I have neither sanctioned nor am I aware of any such press conference.

Please be advised that as part of the leadership, I am working closely with the authorities, who are still in the process of validating and verifying information necessary to complete payments.

All colleagues are encouraged to follow official directives to avoid any misunderstandings or inconveniences. Leadership, in collaboration with government authorities, is committed to ensuring that all eligible arrears are paid within the designated timeframe.

Dear Colleagues,

UPDATE: PASSWORD RESETTING LINKS VIA EMAIL
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
On the “The Forgotten Password” and password reset links via email, please note the following;

1. This issue upon reports was resolved on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 and feedback provided here,

2. ⁠Our service providers however noticed that there was some conflicts between two servers which had the likelihood of affecting the Timesheet Uploads,

3. ⁠The mail server was therefore temporarily disabled so to allow uninterrupted uploads of Timesheets,

4. ⁠Based on the number of Timesheets uploaded so far, our service providers are confident that enabling the mail server by tomorrow November 1, 2024 would cause minimal interference with the upload server since the number of uploads expected and the number “Forgotten Passwords” are on the low side,

5. ⁠Therefore, kindly expect the Password Reset issue to be fixed by close of business tomorrow. Friday, November 1, 2024 with a some time consideration allowed for persons legitimately affected to complete Uploads.

CURRENT UPDATE ON VALIDATION 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Good afternoon colleagues,

Please note the following;
1. The “Password Reset” link to emails has been fixed by our service provider.

2. We noted reports of challenges of uploading timesheets. This was investigated, the issue(s) identified and resolved,

3. The first batch, Educate Ghana will continue to have access to upload their timesheets together with those on the second batch,

4. We will continue to monitor the system as we proceed with this process,

5. As at this morning, over 157,000 Timesheets have been uploaded and we expect this number to double by close of day October 30, 2024,

6. We have however identified some trainees uploading all kinds of “documents” not qualified as timesheets. Those actions are clearly not mistakes but an attempt to defraud, but these actions come with consequences of not being processed.

UPDATE: “RESETTING FORGOTTEN PASSWORD” FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT REMEMBER THEIR PASSWORD

The complaints of challenges on “Resetting Forgotten Passwords” through the EMAIL link has been reviewed and the following notice;

1. A problem with the email server from a secondary service provider was upgraded during the shutdown of the portal,

2. ⁠The above has been reported and is currently being resolved,

3. ⁠Those who genuinely face this challenge should not worry because they will have time to reset their passwords and upload their valid timesheets,

4. ⁠But please note that this does not apply to anyone who doesn’t know their emails or passwords to their emails.

UPDATE ON VALID TIMESHEET ON INDIVIDUAL PORTAL

Guide on Valid Timesheets

For those who did not upload their timesheets whilst at post during the extension or do not have signed valid timesheets from the time of their extension, you must please follow these instructions for a “Valid Timesheets” upload:

1. A Valid Timesheet is the Timesheet printed from the Trainee’s OWN PORTAL,

2. That Timesheet printed from the Trainee’s Own Portal must be signed by the Trainee,

3. The signature of the Trainee on the Timesheet must Match with their signature on their acceptance letter at the time of joining the scheme,

4. The signed timesheet must be signed by the Trainee’s Supervisor at Work,

5. The Work Supervisor must sign and Stamp the Timesheet with an official stamp of the institution.

6. Due to the current situation of the scheme, a signature of a District Coordinator is not required,

7. Trainee must upload this Valid Timesheet onto your portal and keep the hard copy.

8. ⁠All uploaded Timesheets will be reviewed. Those uploading just “anything” shall be set aside from the payment data and Not given any chance for correction because their actions would have been criminal and not mistakes.

The above is to guide legitimate former trainees who did not upload valid timesheets or have them do so correctly.

Note the individual trainee Timesheets are available on the trainees “Timesheets Upload” page.

Please be advised that an invalid timesheet will affect the processing of your payment.

UPDATE: SCHEDULES FOR TIMESHEETS UPLOAD.

Notice to all former trainees of the Nation Builders Corps, who remained at post during the extension period (ending September 2022).

Kindly note that your module will be invited to upload timesheets for months owed during the extension period of the NABCO scheme. In all cases, please wait for the sms broadcast for your module before proceeding to upload onto your personalised portal.

*The scheduled batches are as follows:*

1. Saturday 26th to Monday 28th October (11.59pm)

Educate Ghana Trainees (EDG) ONLY

2. Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th October

Revenue Ghana, Civic Ghana, and Heal Ghana ONLY.

3. Thursday 31st October and Friday 1st November 2024

Enterprise Ghana, Feed Ghana, and Digitise Ghana trainees ONLY

The team managing the process entreat all former trainees to comply with the above to avoid any delays in the processing of their claims for months owed.

Please note that in the absence of your DCs and RCs you DO NOT have to submit a hard copy of your Timesheet to anyone except to upload, and the team will process payments as follows:

All payment validation will be done by MIPs and extra checks with both Controller and Accountant General, SSNIT, before payments. Please avoid any fraudulent submissions.

Please be advised that former trainees do not need to pay or see any person to facilitate payment.

Individual trainees are responsible for resolving their claims and issues pertaining to their time on the scheme. Avoid the attempt to unionise issues of loss of personal information, phone numbers (and changes), log-in credentials, MIP, and other validating authorities' individual disputes.

Finally, for all outstanding previous issues with systems or validation, those affected trainees must await to be guided after the extension issues are resolved.

FEW UPDATES:

In response to numerous calls and messages from esteemed colleagues regarding updates on validation, arrears payments and the way forward, please note the following:

As indicated few weeks ago, the NABCO portal is now seen reactivated _(https://apply.nabco.gov.gh)_ but to begin the validation processes for payment, let’s wait for further directives from authorities through sms notifications to know what to do.

Authorities are working diligently to speed up validation processes for onward payments though there have been delays—which are understandably frustrating and unfortunate.

When the portal is fully restored, eligible colleagues will receive notifications in batches according to their respective modules to quickly upload their timesheets within the stipulated timeline. This approach aims to prevent system congestion and maintain smooth operations.

The trainee leadership remains focused on ensuring that all eligible arrears are paid.

We therefore advise all eligible trainees for payment to follow and adhere to any further instructions or directives provided within the validation processes quickly.

We understand the current financial challenges, but please be assured that validation processes are far advanced. Let us stay prepared for further updates from authorities.

SMS notifications will be sent to those experiencing E-zwich card issues on their individual portals, prompting them to update their card information.

UPDATE ON OUR MEETING WITH DR. IBRAHIM ANYARS, FORMER CEO OF NABCO

On the 7th of October, 2024, NABTAG leadership together with other groups in NABCO met with the former CEO of NABCO, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars in connection with the upcoming payment of our arrears, and we are pleased to share the following key resolutions with you:

The Association urges all eligible colleagues to adhere strictly to all directives to facilitate the payment process

NABCO PORTAL REACTIVATION FOR VALIDATION: Except the NABCO portal reopened for validation and update within the week or next week.

PAYMENT OF ARREARS FOR THE EXTENSION PERIOD: Trainees who adhered to the “remain at post” directives during the extension period will receive their pending payments within the shortest period from now.

TIMESHEETS UPLOAD: Trainees who were unable to upload copies of their timesheets within the extension period but were actively working can upload and submit them when the NABCO portal is reactivated.

NB:
1. Those who cannot access copies of their timesheets can engage or contact their Line Managers at their respective institutions/agencies for signed and stamped (well endorsed) timesheets for all the months as proof of being at post. Only timesheets downloaded from trainee’s portal will be accepted.

2. Trainees who believe they can have access to their District Coordinators (DCs) and get the hard copies of their submitted timesheets for the months in question can do so without going to their Line Managers (optional)

UPLOAD OF TIMESHEETS IN MODULES: To experience easy uploads, trainees are advised to follow the module by module timetable yet to be issued for the uploads. Every module will be given specific period to upload timesheets.

ARREARS FOR THE CONTRACT PERIOD: Eligible Trainees with arrears within the three (3) year contract will be considered for payment after validation and verification.

UPDATE OF E-ZWICH CARD:
After the current ongoing verification of trainees E-Zwich Card by authorities, trainees with card issues will be notified through SMS to update their E-Zwich card.

SMS NOTIFICATION: SMS alert will be sent to eligible trainees periodically giving directives on the process of validation and payment. Do not delay on any directive.
