The Ghana Library Authority, through the Eastern Regional Library, organized a Reading Amnesty initiative at Nsawam Medium Security Prison to advance literacy and lifelong learning among inmates.

Themed “Free to Read,” the program encouraged inmates to prioritize education and personal development, reinforcing that growth and achievement remain possible regardless of circumstance.
