KAF Donates GH¢18,500 to Rainstorm Victims on Easter Monday

The Kofi Adams Foundation (KAF) has extended a helping hand to victims of a rainstorm that ravaged several communities a few weeks ago, donating a total of GH¢18,500 in cash to support ongoing recovery efforts.

The donation, presented on Easter Monday by the Founder of the Foundation, Hon. Kofi Adams, was distributed directly to the affected individuals to provide relief as they continue to grapple with the aftermath of the disaster.

The funds were allocated to the various communities based on the assessed level of impact. A breakdown of the disbursement shows that affected individuals in Dzoku received GH¢7,500, Oseikrom received GH¢5,000, while those in Kute and New Ayoma each received GH¢3,000.

In a brief statement, the Foundation reiterated that this gesture forms part of its core mandate to lend a critical helping hand to Ghanaians in times of crisis and disaster. Hon. Kofi Adams expressed his continued sympathy with the affected families and assured them of the Foundation's commitment to supporting vulnerable groups during difficult periods.

Beneficiaries and local leaders in the communities expressed their appreciation for the support, noting that the Easter Monday donation provides meaningful assistance as they continue working to restore normalcy to their daily lives.
