Yesterday, Hon. Mathew Ayeh (MCE) and Hon. Robert Wisdom Quodjoe (MP), through the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, distributed livelihood support items and financial assistance to 40 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the municipality.

The items included 15 freezers, 1 fufu machine, 3 spraying machines, and 3 wheelchairs. The initiative aims to empower beneficiaries and improve their livelihoods.

📚 MCE AND MP COMMISSION 2-UNIT K.G. BLOCK AND TEACHERS’ QUARTERS AT BANDAHU

The Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley, Hon. Matthew Ayeh, together with the Member of Parliament for the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency, Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, yesterday commissioned a newly completed 2-unit Kindergarten Block and Teachers’ Quarters at Bandahu.

The project is expected to improve teaching and learning, provide a conducive environment for pupils, and enhance accommodation for teachers within the community.

The commissioning forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure and promote quality education across the Municipality.

🚧 Engineers are currently on site as massive desilting works continue along the B-Line–Attechem gutters.

The exercise forms part of efforts by the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal Assembly to improve drainage systems, ensure the free flow of water, and prevent flooding within the area.

SITE HANDED OVER FOR COMMENCEMENT OF 24-HOUR ECONOMY MARKET PROJECT

The Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley, Hon. Matthew Ayeh, together with Nana Nteboah Pra IV, officially handed over the site for the commencement of the 24-Hour Economy Market Project to the contractor, Jay Blue Company Limited.

The ceremony marks an important step toward the realization of the project, which is expected to boost local commerce, create employment opportunities, and improve trading activities within the Municipality.

The MCE expressed confidence in the contractor and urged them to deliver quality work within the stipulated time, while the Chief pledged the support of the traditional authority toward the successful ex*****on of the project.
