The Ghana Health Service, through its Research and Development Division, invites researchers, academics, health professionals, and institutions to submit abstracts for the 2026 National Health Research Dissemination Forum.
Under the theme, “Free Primary Healthcare as a Catalyst for Universal Health Coverage: Perspectives from Researchers,” the forum will provide a platform to share evidence, innovations, and research findings that can contribute to strengthening Ghana’s health system and advancing universal health coverage.

As part of the ongoing celebration of International Nurses Day 2026, nurses and midwives across the Upper West Akim RCH Unit proudly participated in the exciting “Rep Your Jersey Day” held on Tuesday, 26th May 2026.

The atmosphere at various health facilities was filled with energy, unity, and vibrant colors as staff reported to work in their favorite football, and sports jerseys.

The activity brought joy, strengthened team spirit, and created memorable moments among health workers while continuing to deliver quality care to patients.

The celebration also highlighted the importance of teamwork, wellness, and togetherness among nurses and midwives who work tirelessly to provide compassionate healthcare services to communities within the district.

📸 Beautiful pictures were taken throughout the day to showcase the creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication of our hardworking nurses and midwives.
