REGIONAL DISSEMINATION WORKSHOPS
The Ghana National Household Registry (GNHR) has commenced a series of Regional Data Dissemination Workshops following the successful completion of the GNHR Scale-Up and LEAP Reassessment data collection and analysis.
The workshops are being held across the country to share findings from the exercise with stakeholders at regional and district levels. The initiative seeks to strengthen evidence-based planning and decision-making by equipping Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) and other key stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to effectively utilise GNHR data.
The dissemination exercise is intended to support the identification of vulnerable populations, inform resource allocation, enhance development planning, and improve the targeting of social protection interventions.
The Regional Data Dissemination Workshops also provide a platform to promote the use of GNHR data among government institutions and development partners, while fostering collaboration to ensure that social protection policies and programmes are informed by reliable and up-to-date household data.
