Mr. Jean-Lucien Kwassi Lanyo Savi de Tové, President of the Togolese Republic accrediting him as Zambia's High Commissioner to the Republic of Togo with residence in Accra, Ghana.

The ceremony marked a significant diplomatic milestone by formally establishing Zambia’s accredited representation to Togo. It reaffirmed the two countries’ longstanding friendship, mutual respect, Pan-African solidarity and commitment to peace, stability and sustainable development.

During a meeting with President Savi de Tové, High Commissioner Mahongo reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to expanding cooperation in trade and investment, agriculture, mining, e-commerce, energy, transport and tourism.

ZAMBIA TO BENEFITS FROM SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER LILLIAN CHIPESO'S VISIT TO GHANA.

Lillian Chipeso arrived in Ghana a fortnight ago. During her stay, she engaged with the Ghana Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, helping shift the narrative from entertainment to tourism promotion. While in Ghana, she also took time to visit Zambia’s High Commissioner to Ghana H.E Mr Daniel Mahongo.

Prior to her departure from Zambia to Ghana, Lillian received promotional materials from the Zambia Tourism Agency, aligning her visit with Zambia’s broader efforts to market itself as a travel destination. Through her content and public appearances, she has been showcasing Zambia while experiencing Ghana, naturally promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.

Her partnership with Goshers has been central to this effort. Together, they have used their platforms to highlight tourist attractions in both Zambia and Ghana, drawing attention from audiences across both regions and sparking interest in travel and collaboration.

For Zambia, the benefits are clear: increased visibility in West Africa, potential growth in tourist arrivals, and stronger cultural ties with Ghana. It also demonstrates the power of digital storytelling in promoting tourism.
