ABANGA YAKUBU ALHASSAN FOUNDATION: BUILDING BRIDGES, CHANGING LIVES
On January 1st, 2025, the Abanga Yakubu Alhassan Foundation brought hope and joy to many as its founder, Abanga Yakubu Alhassan, celebrated his birthday in a remarkable way. Embodying the foundation's motto, “Building bridges, changing lives,” he turned his special day into a platform for kindness and compassion in the streets of Accra, Ghana.
The celebration began with a heartwarming gesture: 500 packs of food were distributed to street children across the Greater Accra Region.
This initiative aimed to touch the lives of some of the city's most vulnerable individuals, offering nourishment and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
Later, in the company of his beautiful wife, La Dade Kotopon constituency executives, and dedicated team members of the Abanga Yakubu Foundation, spent time with the Osu children’s home orphans.
The atmosphere was filled with love, and laughter, and hope as he celebrated his birthday in their company. He extended his generosity to the Osu Children’s home by donating an impressive array of essential supplies, including:
1)50 bags of 25kg rice
2)100 packs of water
3)100packs of soft drinks
4)20 gallons of 25-liter cooking oil
5)20 cartons of milk
6)10 cartons of Milo
7)10 cartons of large-size tin tomatoes
8)10 cartons of mackerels
9)10cartons of sardines
10)10packs of toilet rolls
11)A cash donation of GHS 20,000
This act of generosity reflects the foundation’s unwavering commitment to uplifting underprivileged communities and fostering a spirit of togetherness. Abanga Yakubu Alhassan’s birthday celebration was not just a personal milestone but a beacon of hope for those in need.
Through his selfless acts, he reminded us all that true joy lies in giving and that together, we can build bridges and change lives.
