Over the weekend the National Women's Commission led by The National Women's Commissioner Miss Rashida Titiaka AMIDU supported by the National Financial Secretary of National Service Personnel Association Mr. Akrong Nartey Clause Oko, in Partnership with the BORESAH ROYAL FOUNDATION Embarked on a Two-Day Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening in Bole, in the Bole Bamboi District of the Savannah Region of Ghana .
The Team used the opportunity to Educate the people of Bole and Created Awareness on Breast Cancer, it's Causes , effects and possible remedies on the first day.
The Team Continued with the Breast Cancer Screening on the Second day at the New Community Center Bole.
The Team was joined by the Executive Director of the BORESAH ROYAL FOUNDATION, Queen Boresah, the Matron of the Bole Hospital and some nurses from the Bole Bamboi Health Director.
The Team Consist of The National Women's Commission, Miss Rashida Titiaka Amidu, Mr. Alexander Afful ( Vice president of the NASPA and Secretary to the Women's Commission), Miss Rebecca Baiden( Eastern Regional NASPA Wocom), Miss Saudatu ( Upper East Region NASPA Wocom), Miss Gloria Ankomah ( Central Regional NASPA Wocom) , Miss Mariama Ibrahim ( Western Regional NASPA Wocom) and Mr. Akrong Nartey Clause Oko,the National Financial Secretary of NASPA.
The Team used the Opportunity to Pay Homage to the Bolewura and also join the people of Bole to celebrate their Annual Damba Festival.
The team is very grateful to the people of Bole and the BORESAH ROYAL FOUNDATION.
The Team departed to Jema in the Kintampo South District of the Bono East Region.
