The Liberian Community in Togo stood out during Liberia's 179th Independence Day celebration by proudly embracing a unique cultural identity. Instead of the traditional commemorative T-shirts, they chose to wear beautiful local lappas, creating a colorful and authentic display of Liberian heritage.
This creative decision not only made their celebration truly distinctive but also reminded us that our culture is our greatest identity. Among Liberian communities celebrating across the world, the Togo community shined with originality, unity, and pride.
