🥛 Why does some of our Guernsey milk look creamier right now?
You may have noticed that some cartons of Guernsey milk are looking a little creamier than usual at the moment.
This is due to a temporary fault in our processing equipment which has led to increased fat separation in a small number of cartons (full cream, low-fat and lactose-free). This can make naturally occurring cream deposits more visible.
The important thing to know:
✅All affected milk meets Guernsey and EU food safety standards
✅Every batch continues to pass strict quality and safety checks
✅Skimmed milk is not affected
If you spot a visible cream layer, simply give the carton a gentle shake to mix it back in (though you may still see some small creamy blobs).
Our Engineering and Quality Control teams are working hard to resolve the issue and return milk to its usual appearance as quickly as possible.
Guernsey milk remains naturally rich in protein, calcium and vitamins like B12 — and its creamy character is a reflection of its high-quality composition.
