🔵საქართველოს ენერგეტიკისა და წყალმომარაგების მარეგულირებელი ეროვნული კომისიის (სემეკ) თავმჯდომარემ, დავით ნარმანიამ წამყვანი საერთაშორისო წყლის კომპანიის, Aqualia-ს მიწვევით, მონაწილეობა მიიღო ,,გლობალური წყლის სამიტი 2026“-ში (Global Water Summit 2026), რომელიც 18-20 მაისს ესპანეთში, ქ. მადრიდში გაიმართა.
სამიტი წყლის ინდუსტრიაში წამყვანი ქსელური და სტრატეგიული ღონისძიებაა, რომელიც აერთიანებს სამთავრობო უწყებებს, მარეგულირებლებს, საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციებს, ფინანსებისა და ტექნოლოგიების სექტორების წარმომადგენლებს, დარგის ექსპერტებს.
გარდა ამისა, სემეკის თავმჯდომარე Aqualia-ს გენერალურ დირექტორს, სანტიეგო ლაფუენტეს შეხვდა. შეხვედრაზე განიხილეს Aqualia-ს მფლობელობაში არსებული შპს “ჯორჯიან უოთერ ენდ ფაუერის” მიერ თბილისში, რუსთავსა და მცხეთაში წყალმომარაგების მომსახურების ხარისხის გაუმჯობესების მიზნით განსახორციელებელი პროექტები, ისაუბრეს სამომავლო გეგმებზე.
”მსხვილი ინვესტორისა და საერთაშორისო გამოცდილების მქონე კომპანიის - Aqualia-ს „ჯორჯიან უოთერ ენდ ფაუერის“ მენეჯმენტში შესვლიდან დღემდე მოცულობითი ინვესტიციებია განხორციელებული თბილისში, რუსთავსა და მცხეთაში წყალმომარაგების მოძველებული ინფრასტრუქტურის რეკონსტრუქციის, რეაბილიტაციისა და სხვადასხვა სამუშაოების წარმოებისათვის, რათა ეტაპობრივად გაუმჯობესდეს წყლის მიწოდებისა და წყალარინების საკითხები.
კომპანია საქართველოში ნერგავს საუკეთესო საერთაშორისო გამოცდილებას წყალმომარაგების სისტემის მართვის ტექნიკებისა და მეთოდოლოგიების კუთხით. Aqualia -ს სტრატეგიული მიდგომები იძლევა იმის გარანტიას, რომ თბილისში, რუსთავსა და მცხეთაში წყალმომარაგება მნიშვნელოვნად გაუმჯობესდება”, - აღნიშნა დავით ნარმანიამ Aqualia-ს გენერალურ დირექტორთან შეხვედრის დასრულების შემდეგ.

Davit Narmania, Chairman of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, participated in the Global Water Summit 2026, held in Madrid on May 18–20, at the invitation of the leading international water company Aqualia.
The summit is recognized as one of the water industry’s leading strategic and networking events, bringing together representatives of governments, regulatory authorities, international organizations, the financial and technology sectors, as well as prominent industry experts from across the globe.
In addition, Davit Narmania held a meeting with Santiago Lafuente, General Director of Aqualia. During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing and planned projects to be implemented by Georgian Water and Power LLC (GWP), owned by Aqualia, with the aim of improving the quality and reliability of water supply services in Tbilisi, Rustavi, and Mtskheta. The discussion also covered future development plans and long-term investment priorities.
“Since Aqualia, a major international investor with extensive global experience, assumed the management of Georgian Water and Power LLC, significant investments have been directed toward the reconstruction and rehabilitation of outdated water supply infrastructure in Tbilisi, Rustavi, and Mtskheta. Important works have also been undertaken to progressively improve water supply and wastewater management systems. The company is introducing international best practices, advanced methodologies, and modern management standards within Georgia’s water supply sector. Aqualia’s strategic vision and long-term approach provide a solid foundation for the significant improvement of water supply services in Tbilisi, Rustavi, and Mtskheta,” stated Davit Narmania following the meeting with Santiago Lafuente, General Director of Aqualia.
