I am pleased to share my participation in the WHO Regional Office for Europe and EU-funded regional workshop “Building Arts Capacity for Health (BACH)” held on 19–21 November in Yerevan at the Henrik Igityan National Centre for Aesthetics.
The three-day program, led by Dr. Nisha Sajnani (NYU, Jameel Arts & Health Lab), brought together delegates from Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova and Azerbaijan to strengthen cross-sector collaboration between arts, culture and public health.
The workshop featured:
🔰 Creative and experiential learning sessions
🔰 Global case studies in arts and health
🔰 Country presentations of the Arts & Health Asset Maps
🔰 Panels with leading Georgian and Armenian organizations
🔰 Training in project design, evaluation and enabling frameworks
I am honored that the newly published WHO–EU report “Mapping Cultural and Health Assets in Georgia” includes my profile and highlights the mission of my inclusive theatre “Life is Beautiful.”
I extend my sincere appreciation to WHO Europe, the European Union and all partners for advancing this important regional dialogue.
