Summer holidays will soon be here and we cannot wait to spend more time at the Three Hagges Woodmeadow with more exploring, crafting, campfire cooking, relaxing and playing! Our half term holiday clubs were fantastic and we are so glad that those of you that joined us had such an amazing time.

Our first week will be for children aged 8-12:
Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd July

All the other dates will be open to children aged 6-11:
Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th August
Tuesday 1st, Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd September
Monday 7th September

May half term holiday club is filling up fast- there are just a few places left each day!

The woodmeadow is looking stunning at the moment and we would love you to come join us to enjoy two days of outdoor adventures there over half term.

So if you know any children aged 6-11 who would like to join us at the beautiful Three Hagges Woodmeadow in Escrick then send them our way for two days of fun, active and creative activities in the woodmeadow and surrounding ancient woodland throughout the day.

Sessions will run on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th May from 9am to 3pm. £35 per day, saving £7.50 if you book both days!

Sessions are run by Kirsty and Ruth, both level 3 qualified forest school leaders with DBS checks and outdoor/paediatric first aid qualifications. Our sessions will primarily run outdoors although we will have access to shelter if the weather dictates this.

Sunshine and lavender playdough...and a little bumblebee visitor too!

Rollers from

Playdough recipe is:
2 cups plain flour
3/4 cup salt
4 teaspoons cream of tartar
2 cups lukewarm water
2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil

Cook together til soft, then add colourings and a handful of dried lavender flowers 🪻

🍂Ruki in the Forest is back for Forest School holiday clubs at October half term!🍂

We are already planning our next adventures in the woods and we are excited to let you know that holiday club days for October half term are now available to book on Tuesday 28th October and Wednesday 29th October for children aged 6-11, held at Three Hagges Woodmeadow near Escrick.

Autumn is a really special time to be out in the woodlands and the woodmeadow and we've got some really exciting things planned.

Looking for something to do with your little ones on Monday? Come join us at Three Hagges Woodmeadow near Escrick for Ruki Wrigglers forest school toddler group 🍂

We have activities and snacks in the Bodgers Den then head to the woods to play in the trees, relax in the hammocks and do some exploring!

On Mondays during term time we offer a relaxed session at Three Hagges Woodmeadow for parents/carers with under 5s from 9.30am - 11.00am.

You can arrive from 9am, get a hot drink, catch up with other parents and have a gentle start to the session. We offer nature based play opportunities for under 5s in a calm, fun, inspiring environment.
We have access to the beautiful woodmeadow, indoor space if needed and also the surrounding ancient woodland where you may even choose to put your feet up and get cosy in a hammock.
Discounts are available if you book for the half term block and this is calculated automatically at checkout. Each booking is valid for a parent/carer and up to 2 children.
We can't wait to see you soon for some more fresh air fun!
