York CVS

York CVS Supporting and championing York’s voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. Every success story starts life as a small idea.

Since 1939, York CVS has been giving sound financial, legal and management advice to local charities, community groups and social enterprises – helping turn their ideas into a reality. It might be a group that gives disabled residents a voice. Or a support network for young carers. It could be a passionate lobbying group to protect the local area. York CVS looks after the finer details, so the org

anisations we support can carry on improving and enriching the lives of local people. Many of our services are available for free. Which is surprising, because in our 75 years we’ve built up expertise and knowledge that is unrivalled anywhere else in the city. Empowering local people to make a difference is at the heart of what we do. Large or small, every group is welcome to become a member.
