Pocklington Canal Pocklington Canal is one of the Canal and River Trust's most idyllic rural canals, noted for its rich wildlife.

Pocklington Canal is one of the Canal and River Trust's top ten canals for wildlife. This 9.5 mile waterway runs from Canal Head (opposite the Wellington Oak on the A1079) to East Cottingwith, where the canal joins the River Derwent. The canal is owned by the Canal and River Trust and managed in partnership with the Pocklington Canal Amenity Society.
