๐Ÿšœ OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW! ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

Big changes are happening down on the farm today, and we are absolutely bursting with excitement!

Todayโ€™s mission? Saying goodbye to our old playhouse to make room for something epic. We are officially clearing the space for our brand-new, ultimate SAND AND EXCAVATOR AREA! ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŒพ

But don't worry, the playhouse isn't gone for good! It will be back in action very soon in its fantastic new location! ๐Ÿกโœจ

A massive shoutout to our incredible handy men, Andy and Harry, who did an amazing job smashing through the takedown today. Elite teamwork right there! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ”จ

Here is what you need to know about what's coming next:

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Construction kicks off on Tuesday, 16th June!
โฑ๏ธ The building work will last for around 2 weeks.
๐ŸŽจ Our gorgeous new play area will also be underway at the exact same time!

๐Ÿท THE FARM IS OPEN AS USUAL! ๐Ÿท
You can still come down and visit all your favourite animals! Just please be aware that construction will be happening around the site. A few small areas will be temporarily out of bounds to keep everyone safe while the magic happens.

๐Ÿ‘€ KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED! ๐Ÿ‘€
There is going to be so much happening around here over the next few weeks! Make sure to follow the action right here on Facebook and across our other social platforms so you don't miss any of the exciting progress updates! ๐Ÿ“ธโœจ

We can not wait to show you the final look. Get ready to dig, play, and explore very soon! ๐Ÿšœ๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿฆš MEET PHIL: THE SELF-APPOINTED BOSS OF THE PLAY AREA! ๐Ÿฆš

Ever wonder who keeps the peace around the toy tractors? Itโ€™s Phil.

Phil the Peacock has taken his seat at the head of the table today, and honestly, we think heโ€™s trying to figure out how to drive the green John Deere back there. He has the style, he has the attitude, but his feet can't quite reach the pedals! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Did you know?
โ€ข They are noisy neighbors: Peacocks make loud, high-pitched calls that sound like a human yelling "Help!" or "May-awe!"

โ€ข Heavy lifters: Despite having a train of feathers that can be over 5 feet long, they can still fly! They mostly use their wings to escape predators or roost safely up in trees at night.

โ€ข Fancy naming: Only the boys are called peacocks. The girls are peahens, and the babies are peachicks. Together, they form a "muster" or a "bevy" of peafowl!Don't challenge him to a dance-offโ€”with those gorgeous feathers and that dramatic tail shake, you will absolutely lose! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ

๐Ÿšœ BIG milestone day for Clarissa the Calf! ๐Ÿฎโœจ

Today, our sweet girl Clarissa reached a major milestone on her growing-up journey here at The Farm. She had her horns disbudded today!

A massive shout-out and thank you to Ricardo and Greg from Westpoint Farm Vets for doing such a fantastic, professional job keeping our girl safe and comfortable! ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿ‘

Take a look at the video belowโ€”as you can see, Clarissa is incredibly relaxed, completely pain-free, and happily nodding off while getting some premium chin strokes! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’ค

But wait, what exactly is disbudding, and why do we do it? Time for a quick farm-fact education! ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ’ก Disbudding vs. Dehorning: What is the difference?

โ€ข Disbudding happens when calves are very young. We gently remove the tiny horn "buds" before they ever attach to the skull or start growing. It is quick, safe, and done with numbing care so they don't feel a thing.

โ€ข Dehorning is the removal of fully grown, mature horns on older cattle. It is a much bigger and more intense process.By disbudding Clarissa now while she is little, we prevent big horns from ever growing, making it much easier and stress-free for her!

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Why do we do it?
Safety is our number one priority! Removing the horns keeps everyone safe, including:

โ€ข Our wonderful customers who come to visit and pet the animals.

โ€ข Our hard-working staff and vets who care for her every day.

โ€ข Her paddock pals! When Clarissa goes out to pasture, she shares her space with sheep, lambs, and other cows. No horns means zero risk of accidental injuries during playtime or feeding time.

Clarissa handled her big day like an absolute superstar! Come down to The Farm soon to give our growing girl some chin strokes of your own! ๐Ÿšœโค๏ธ

๐Ÿฐ Meet Amazon, the Ultimate Bunny Supervisor! ๐Ÿฅฌ

Barn cleaning day is always an adventure here at the farm, especially when Amazon decides to become our "Chief Inspector of the Woodchips" in the rabbit pen! ๐Ÿงนโœจ

We started refreshing our open penned area in the barn today, but Amazon clearly thought we were just building her a brand-new luxury throne๐Ÿซฃ Every time our team scoops out the old bedding, this adorable fluffy cloud jumps right into the middle of the fresh pile to make sure it meets her high standards.

Spoiler alert: Her standards involve tracking woodchips absolutely everywhere and looking completely innocent while doing it. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Who needs efficient farm equipment when you have a tiny assistant who is 100% motivation and 0% actual help? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Come visit the barn this week to see our open rabbit area and catch Amazon in action!

What's the funniest way your pets "help" you clean up at home? Let us know in the comments! ๐Ÿ‘‡

Happy Monday, everyone! ๐ŸŒธ

Get ready to melt because we have the ultimate cure for those Monday blues!

Today, our tiny baby girls experienced the big, wide world of grass for the very first time. Even though their eyes are still completely closed, their little noses were working overtime!

Check out the video below to see them wiggling around, taking in all those exciting new earthy smells, and figuring out what this soft green stuff is all about. You genuinely can not watch this without smiling!

Drop a โค๏ธ if these little ladies just made your week a whole lot brighter!

๐ŸŒพ The Grass Maze is BACK for 2026! ๐ŸŒพ

Calling all little explorers! ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธโœจ We know how much your mini-adventurers love to discover new places, so we are bringing back our popular Grass Maze for another year of epic farmyard fun!

๐Ÿšœ Sneak Peek Alert!
The maze is getting its final trims right now and isn't quite finished yet. Take a close look at the picture belowโ€”can you spot Farmer Lewis on the lawnmower hard at work cutting the final secret pathways? ๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿ‘€

Once it is ready, your little ones can weave through the twisting paths to the other side! It is the perfect outdoor challenge to add to your ultimate family day out! ๐Ÿšœโ˜€๏ธ

๐Ÿ’š A quick note for our brave explorers:
Our grass walls are super fragile and can break easily if stepped on. To keep the maze beautiful and green for everyone, please make sure your children stick closely to the cut paths and avoid taking any sneaky shortcuts through the walls! ๐Ÿ›‘๐ŸŒพ

๐Ÿ‘ถ The Grass Maze is specially designed for smaller children.

Moo-ve over, everyone, thereโ€™s a new explorer in town! ๐Ÿฎโœจ

We are officially on DAY TWO of halter training with our gorgeous girl, Clarissa the Calf, and she is already proving to be an absolute superstar! Honestly, even on day one, she blew us all away with how well she took to it. Sheโ€™s got the brains to match that beautiful face!

Clarissa has been busy ticking off her farm adventure bucket list and exploring all the sights. So far, she has discovered:

โ€ข ๐Ÿ› The swings and play toys (she thinks they look very interesting!)

โ€ข ๐Ÿฆš Phil the Peacock and the chickens (talk about some noisy neighbours!)

โ€ข ๐Ÿฆ™ The Alpaca Girls over in the barn (who gave her a very warm welcome!)

โ€ข ๐Ÿ‘‹ And, of course, all of your lovely friendly faces over the last couple of days!

We cannot wait to watch her explore even further with those big, beautiful, intrigued eyes.๐Ÿฅฐ

Why halter train a calf?
Halter training is so important because it helps Clarissa learn how to walk nicely with her handlers. It builds her confidence, keeps her safe during vet visits, and ensures she grows up to be a relaxed, happy, and manageable cow who loves interacting with people!

Spot Clarissa out and about? Here is how you can help!

If you see Clarissa practicing her walking skills during your visit, please follow these simple rules to keep it a fun experience for everyone:

โ€ข ๐Ÿคซ Shhhโ€ฆ Try to be as quiet as possible so she can concentrate.

โ€ข ๐Ÿ“ Keep your distance: Give her plenty of space. Spooked cows can sometimes kick outโ€”though with Clarissa, that's very unlikely!

โ€ข ๐Ÿ“ธ Paparazzi rules: Feel free to take as many photos as you like, but please make sure your flashes are turned OFF so we don't startle her!

โ€ข ๐Ÿ‘€ Watch and learn: You are more than welcome to stand back and watch her training. Once her confidence builds, her handler might even invite you a little closer for a good scratch or to help out with a brushing session!

โ€ข ๐Ÿ‘‹ If she approaches you: At this age, Clarissa is incredibly inquisitive and might walk right up to say hello! If she does, just stay still, keep quiet, and let her have a good sniff. (Psst... if you feel uncomfortable or scared at any point, just let her handler know and they will moo-ove along!)

Have you already met our little star? ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ‘‡
If you have visited us over the last couple of days and managed to snap some pictures of Clarissa on her adventures, please share them in the comments below! We absolutely love seeing your photos and catching her funniest intrigued expressions!

Come down and see if you can spot our little adventurer-in-training this week! ๐ŸŒพโœจ

๐Ÿฆ™ Meet Albertโ€”Beetle Bank's resident nosey neighbour!

Albert noticed someone walking past his fence and just had to lean in for a closer look! This incredibly friendly boy absolutely loves a good head tickle. If you get close enough, he might even lean right in to give you a little smooch! ๐Ÿ˜˜

Before you head out across the fields to see Albert and all of his fluffy friends, make sure to grab a bag of grass nuts from the reception desk. They are his absolute favourite snack, and he will definitely be your best friend if you have some to share! ๐ŸŒพ

๐Ÿง  Fun Alpaca Fact: Did you know that alpacas don't have top front teeth? They just have a hard dental pad at the top of their mouths, which is why their little lower teeth poke out and make them look so beautifully goofy!๐Ÿ˜Š

Holy cow, time flies when you're growing fast! ๐Ÿฎโœจ๐Ÿผ

Our sweet little Clarissa is officially turning 8 weeks old, which means she is hitting a major milestone: halter training is about to begin! ๐Ÿ—“๏ธโค๏ธ

Why the halter training? ๐Ÿค
Just like teaching a puppy to walk on a leash, halter training ensures Clarissa grows up to be a safe, calm, and cooperative cow. It makes vet check-ups, weighing and moving around the farm stress-free for her and for us! ๐Ÿฉบ๐ŸŒพ

Did you know? ๐Ÿ‘…๐Ÿ˜ฒ
Take a close look at Clarissa's mummy, Caramel, in this photoโ€”yes, her tongue is blue-black! Jersey cows often have dark tongues because the heavy pigment acts as a natural sunblock. It protects their tongues from getting sunburned while they spend long days out grazing in the bright sunshine! โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ

Where is she developmentally? ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ‘ง
At 8 weeks old, Clarissa has the mental age and curiosity of a human toddler. She is full of energy, loves to test boundaries, and explores the entire world with her mouth! ๐Ÿคช๐ŸŒพ

Want to watch her training? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿคซ
If you spot us out practising on the farm, you are more than welcome to spectate! We just ask that you follow a few simple rules to keep everyone safe:

โ€ข Shhh... keep it quiet ๐Ÿค (loud noises can startle a learning calf)
โ€ข Keep your distance ๐Ÿ›‘ (Spooked cows can kick out sideways unexpectedly)
โ€ข Give her space ๐Ÿงญ (Let her focus entirely on her trainer)

Once Clarissa gets comfortable and builds up her confidence, we might just invite you a little closer to help us out with a good scratch or a brushing session! ๐Ÿงผ๐Ÿฅฐ

๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿฆ†๐Ÿ’จ Fast & Feathered: Barn Drift Edition! ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿฆ†๐Ÿ’จ

What starts as a casual waddle down the barn aisle quickly turns into a high-speed, high-flying adventure! Watch until the end to see Calvin activate his turbo-propellers and show us how he really earns his wings.

Sophie picked up the pace, and Calvin said, "Hold my seed, I'm taking off!" ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ

Clearly, Calvin believes that walking is just ordinary when you have the talent to fly Coach Sophie style. We suspect he is just trying to duck out of his daily barn chores! ๐Ÿงน

Hey kids! Guess how fast Calvin was flying in this video? Drop your best guesses in the comments below! ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‡

Want to see Calvin's flying skills in real life? Come visit us this week to meet our favourite high-flyer in person! ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ
