York Parliament Society York Parliament Society is a UoY society that hosts Parliamentary style debate, complete with a legislative timetable and party system.

We aim to facilitate lively debate between people of all political allegiances, in a lively and respectful way.

To clarify the meeting today will be D/L/003

The room is just past Courtyard! If you turn left at Courtyard and then walk towards the education buildings and come out of the side doors and go into the building there and come the the room at the very back that’s were we are!

Sporting associations must allow athletes to compete as the gender the identify as.

The production and consumption of meat should be illegal by 2030.

Important notice: due to issues with room booking, we have had to change our venue for this evening from AEW/104 to P/T/007. As before we will be there from 7pm to answer any questions! Our bills under discussion tonight will be:

All British citizens with offshore accounts must declare them to HMRC, and those holding political office must declare them to the public

The United Kingdom should use its aid budget, including its donation of COVID vaccines, to challenge Chinese and Russian influence.
