Natural England, a government organisation, wants to cull thousands of Dartmoor ponies in the name of ‘biodiversity’.

We cannot let this happen.

Keir Starmer UK Prime Minister could stop this senseless slaughter. The Labour government must not let an unaccountable quango and its mad ideas kill off Dartmoor’s beloved ponies.

All of us here at Torridge and Tavistock Conservative Association would like to join Sir Geoffrey in sending our heartfelt condolences to the families of the 3 Royal Naval air personnel who tradgically lost their lives in this mornings helicopter crash at Sourton Down. We all hugely appreciate the risks, those of the armed forces face in order to protect us and keep us all safe, even in peace time.

The Conservatives Party will CLOSE the shocking loophole that allows husbands who claim more than one wife to get additional benefits.

In Britain, marriage is between two people. Foreign nationals who marry multiple wives overseas should not be allowed to unfairly benefit.

Our analysis has revealed that a home with one husband and four wives would claim up to £78,229 per year - £39,406 more than a standard couple. It even shows that a household with eleven wives could claim a shocking £170,175 per annum.

We will close this loophole.

Our welfare state should reflect British values of equality between men and women, fairness for taxpayers, and respect for the law.

The Devon County Show 🌾☀️

A huge thank you to all the organisers and staff who have put months of hard work into making the Devon county show such a special event.

David Reed MP was delighted to be joined by Shadow Farming Minister Robbie Moore MP as we spent the day meeting farmers, producers, and rural businesses from across Devon and beyond. From the CLA Breakfast to the livestock rings to the NFU Roundtable, it was a brilliant opportunity to hear directly from the people who keep our countryside and food supply running.

We also took time to visit BASICS Devon, the show’s lead charity, whose lifesaving work across Devon is well worth knowing about.

Days like today are a reminder of the dedication and hard work that goes into feeding the nation- and why I’ll always make the case for our farmers in Parliament.

The show continues tomorrow and Saturday, with sunshine forecast throughout- a wonderful start to the bank holiday weekend. If you haven’t been yet, it’s not too late- doors open again tomorrow. 👇🐄🌾☀️

After months of campaigning we’ve forced Rachel Reeves to scrap her planned hike in fuel duty.
