Willow Class enjoyed their final Mini Messi session with Coach Dan where they enjoyed their own World Cup tournament. We had representatives from England, France, Brazil and Spain, with Brazil winning the penalty shootout. It has been fantastic to see their confidence develop since the beginning of last half term, as well as their communication, coordination and team work skills. We certainly have some budding footballers in Willow Class - watch this space! ⚽️

Birch Class became fruit detectives! 🍎🍊🍐 We explored a variety of fruits, carefully cutting them open to discover what was hidden inside. The children were fascinated as they searched for seeds, compared their sizes and shapes, and learned how new plants can grow from them. A hands-on, messy, and exciting way to learn about nature! 🌱✨

I just wanted to thank you all for your help and support of our Summer Fayre on Friday afternoon. I'm sure you'll agree it was a great success and we were very lucky with the weather. I am delighted to announce that together we raised £1057 which is fabulous, so thank you!

Raffle tickets are still on sale until Friday (12/6/26) when it will be drawn in assembly. If you would like to buy any tickets, they are available at the office for £1-a-strip.

We are going to work with our School Parliament children and parent volunteers to identify how the money could be best spent to improve school for all children. One of our ideas is to invest in some new playground markings to stimulate play and sports during the school day, so we'll keep you informed of these developments. If you would like to be involved in the decision making, please let me know.

Thanks again.

🏰A fantastic day out for Birch and Chestnut!🏰

We had a wonderful trip to Raby Castle — a day full of learning, exploring, and plenty of fun!

The children enjoyed discovering the history of the castle, finding out about life in the past, and taking part in exciting activities that brought their learning to life. From exploring the grounds to asking brilliant questions and sharing lots of smiles, it was a trip filled with curiosity and adventure.

It was amazing to see everyone learning outside of the classroom while making memories together. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special!

A truly outstanding two days for our Kirklevington football team at Middlesbrough FC's Wilf Mannion Cup. We competed brilliantly against a huge number of schools and were able to qualify in the championship group by the end of the first day, with a chance to win the big trophy! On the second day, we faced off against many of the best teams in our region, giving a great account of ourselves and finishing in fourth position. Well done to our pupils, who showed excellent resilience, skill and teamwork throughout the league and tournament phases. ⚽️
