Y dyfodol.. Roedd yn hudolus. Bydd gennym atgofion melys iawn o gyffro’r plant ddydd Gwener diwethaf. Ar y 26ain o Fedi, cymerodd ysgolion lleol ran mewn gorymdaith ym Masn Trefor a ddyluniwyd gan Cathy Wade. Nododd yr orymdaith hon agoriad yr ŵyl Fforio Trwy Amser, sef gŵyl dreftadaeth a arweiniwyd gan y gymuned yn y Waun, Cefn, Froncysyllte a Basn Trefor ar y dydd Sadwrn a’r dydd Sul. Diolch i’n Grŵp Cynghori Cymunedol a phob un â roddodd eu hamser yn hael i’n cefnogi yn ystod y cyfnod cyn yr ŵyl er mwyn ei gwneud yn bosibl. Diolch hefyd i bawb a ddaeth i gymryd rhan yn y digwyddiadau. Diolch i bob ysgol am gymryd rhan, i’r tîm cydlynu, yr arbenigwyr treftadaeth, iechyd, iaith, daeareg a’r economi (Phil Vaughan, Sara Wheeler, Emma Presern a Charles Roach) a Sue Griffiths am wneud hyn oll yn bosibl. I’r myfyrwyr celf gwych o Wrecsam a Birmingham am gydweithio ar hyn - pleser pur oedd gweithio gyda chi. I’r Tîm Fforwyr ac Eric, gwirfoddolwr yng Nghanolfan Ymwelwyr Basn Trefor Glandŵr Cymru - rydych chi’n sêr.

Diolch i Eastmans am roi caniatâd i ddefnyddio’r cae ac i’r Gronfa Ffyniant Gyffredin drwy Gyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam am ein galluogi i wireddu’r digwyddiad arbennig hwn.

Mwy o luniau i ddilyn yn ystod yr wythnosau nesaf.

The future..It was magic. Seeing these children’s excitement last Friday will be a lasting happy memory for us. This schools procession designed by Cathy Wade on the 26th September in Trevor Basin opened the Navigating through time festival of heritage and community-led events taking place in Chirk, Cefn, Froncysyllte and Trevor Basin on the Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks to our Community Advisory Group and every single person that generously supported with their time in the lead up to make it possible, and a huge thank you to everyone who made it to the events. Thank you to every school for taking part, to the coordination team the heritage, health, language, geology and economy experts (Phil Vaughan, Sara Wheeler, Emma Presern and Charles Roach) and Sue Griffiths for making this happen. To the wonderful Wrexham and Birmingham art students for collaborating on this you were a joy to work with. Our Explorers Team and Glandŵr Cymru Trevor Basin Visitor Centre volunteer Eric - you are brilliant.

Thanks to Eastmans for permission to use the field and Shared Prosperity Fund through Wrexham County Borough Council for enabling this to happen.

More photos to follow in the coming weeks:) Photography
