As Fete day quickly approaches, don’t forget our new tea room in the Parish Hall will be open. We have tea, coffees like Americano and latte, cold drinks and a lovely selection of cakes and snacks to choose from. Everyone is welcome to to come in and enjoy a little break. 😀🧁🍰☕️🫖

To all mums out there who want to get some gentle exercise with their youngsters make a note in the diary that Tiny Steps line dancing is coming to the village hall. We are holding a taster class next week on Thursday the 25th June from 1.30 to 2.30.

If you haven’t already heard, it’s Fete day this Saturday and unfortunately the Parish Hall car park will be closed from midday on Friday as we need clear access for the stalls and attractions. Please note that we kindly ask that no cars are left there from Friday lunchtime to Sunday afternoon.

Just to keep everybody updated regarding the cemetery grounds at Holy Trinity church in Rhostyllen as I have had many questions about the upkeep of the grass. Unfortunately our regular gardener has had some family commitments to deal with and has been unable to attend and carry out his usual work.

I am happy to let you know that work has restarted to maintain the grounds and this will restore them back to their usual high standard. It would help the gardener greatly if all tributes could be located at the headstone only in line with Parochial regulations. This allows the access required to cut the grass safely without any damage to the tributes.
