The social care system is struggling. Thousands of children are waiting for the safety and stability of a foster home.

There is an estimated shortfall of over 8,000 foster families in the UK, meaning too many young people are left without the support they deserve.

Could you imagine yourself in their shoes?

This Foster Care Fortnight, help us spread awareness and encourage more people to consider fostering. 💛

Children’s mental health is vital for shaping a young persons adulthood and life.
It lays the foundation for how they see themselves, build relationships, cope with challenges, and believe in their own potential. When children feel safe, valued and supported, they grow into adults who are more resilient, confident and able to navigate the ups and downs of life with strength and self-belief.💙🧡

Happy children’s mental health week!💐

“She is a mum to me and I know it will always be that way.”🤍

This Children’s mental health week is themed “This is my place”, focusing on children feeling like they belong in their home, school and community. In Foster Care, belonging means feeling safe and accepted, and knowing you have a place to thrive.
