Early Warning Notice - Road Closure
Please be advised that West Sussex County Council has received a request for Temporary Traffic Regulation.
Loose Lane will be closed between 20th July - 7th August 2026.

June to July: These works will take place in the middle section of Loose Lane under a priority board system. Disruption will be minimal, with only a slight reduction in available parking at any one time along Loose Lane.
July to August: During this period, we will be closing the entrance from West Street onto Loose Lane. A signed diversion route will be in place around the park. Access to the community centre and offices will be maintained at all times via this diversion.
The works will involve activity on the grass verge, existing pavement, and a section on the park side. We will only carry out works on one side at a time to ensure access is always available. Clearly signed routes for both pedestrian and vehicle access to the community centre and offices will be maintained throughout.
Please note that there will be limited parking at the West Street end of Loose Lane during working hours while these works are in progress. However, we will endeavour to keep any reduction in parking to a minimum.
