The Hive is a landmark building run in partnership between Worcestershire County Council and the University of Worcester. The Hive hosts not only an integrated public and University library service but also Worcestershire's Archive and Archaeology Service and the Worcestershire Hub, a one stop shop for enquiries on all County and District services. Featuring one of the biggest children's libraries

in the country (including an innovative outdoor 'Story Island') and The Cafe run by Bellrock's catering team, providing coffee, snacks and delicious cakes, The Hive is sure to attract locals and visitors alike. Set in beautifully landscaped grounds, The Hive had been designed to provide you with an inspirational learning environment as well as a place to just 'be'.

After the talks, guests are invited to visit the Worcester Community Garden. Anyone wishing to attend will need to make their own way there. Please be aware that the site is about a 20 minute walk and is not easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues.

From interactive library tours to inspiring activities, our visits are tailored to help pupils get the most from their local library. Our visits encourage children to read for pleasure, a love of independent learning and participation in a unique community hub.

Our class visit workshops are FREE OF CHARGE.
