Join Laura on Monday morning for a fun class - sharing a story, acting it out, singing songs and making music. Also listening to the violin, playing percussion and a hot drink and cake at the end 🎻🎼🍰

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

As many of you will already be aware, we will be closing at the end of this month. Next Wednesday, 27th March, will be our final session.

It has been an absolute joy to share our Wednesday mornings with so many children and parents over the last 8.5 years. I wish we’d kept a tally of quite how many times we’ve jumped up and down on the big red tractor or how many bubbles have been popped 🤣

There’s quite a lot of thanks to be said so here goes, thank yous in 1, 2, 3….. firstly to Double Six Youth Club, thank you for hosting us for all this time, we are so excited for you for the grant and cannot wait to see the club once all the work is completed.

To our OG helpers, Kerry, Ella and Izzy, thank you so much for all the time you put in to Bubble Six, it was so much fun having all of you there and we miss you! Kerry, Bubbles would never have opened without your help!

Abbie and Zeek - Zeek you were our star barista! Thank you both so much for giving up your Wednesday mornings for us, we have missed you!

Kirstie - your help has been amazing, set up and tidy up has never been as fast as it is now with you there! I’m sorry (not sorry) for all the times you had to sweep up the pasta 😂

Celia - I honestly do not know where we would be with you! Thank you so much for everything. There’s not enough words to express how fantastic you are ❤️❤️❤️

Lastly, to every single child and parent who has ever joined us at Bubble Six - THANK YOU!

We will see you one last time on Wednesday 27th March, 9.30am - 11.15am.

Hi everyone!

Our opening times are changing - from next Wednesday (15th November) our sessions will be 9.30am-11.15am.

Booking is no longer required, you can just walk in 😊

Booking is now open for playgroup in September!

Our first session back is Wednesday 8th, 10am-11.45am.

There are 20 adults places available each week, if you would like to book a place at one of our sessions in September please email [email protected] with the date you would like to book, your name, a contact number and your child/children’s name(s) and age(s).

Each session costs £1.50 for the first child, 50p for siblings. It’s pay on the day in cash (exact change is very much appreciated!)

If a place is not available on your requested date we will be able to add you to a waiting list, we can then let you know if a place opens up.

If you book a place and then find out you can no longer attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the place to a parent on the waiting list.

Just wanted to confirm that our first session back open will be Wednesday 8th September, 10am-11.45am. We are not taking bookings just yet, I will post on here when bookings are open with all the information.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to give a quick booking update. Due to the change in restrictions we can now increase our numbers so we will be able to offer places to 18 adults each session. We are currently fully booked for this week (19th) and next week (26th) and do have waiting lists for both of these sessions. I will be contacting people on these waiting lists to offer one of the new extra spaces.

We will be closed June 2nd as it is half term.

We have not officially started bookings for June 9th onwards but have had lots of enquiries already! I have been keeping a record of anyone who has enquired for a space in June and will contact people to offer a space nearer the time.

UPDATE - 12/05 AND 19/05 ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED

Wow it feels good to be back! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to Bubble Six this morning, we loved seeing you all and hope you had a great time!

Our session next week (Wednesday 5th May) is already fully booked but we are now taking bookings for Wednesday 12th May and Wednesday 19th May. If you would like to book a place please email [email protected] with your full name, contact number and child’s name and age and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

UPDATE - ALL PLACES FOR WEDNESDAY 28th APRIL ARE NOW BOOKED

Big news everybody - WE ARE REOPENING ON WEDNESDAY 28th APRIL! We absolutely cannot wait to see you!

We have tried really hard to keep Bubble Six as ‘normal’ as possible but there are a few changes we’ve had to make.

Firstly, in line with government guidelines, we can only have 15 adults attend each session (children do not need to be counted in this total). Due to this, we now have to ask for places to be prebooked, rather than just turning up. To book a place please email [email protected] with your full name, contact number and child/children’s name and age(s). We will respond to you ASAP to confirm if a place has been booked for you. We will be booking one week at a time only. Please only attend if you have received an email confirming you have been assigned a place.

In addition to this, we do have to ask for social distancing to be observed whilst at Bubble Six and face coverings do need to be worn by adults (unless you are exempt).

Our opening times are still the same (Wednesdays in school term time, 10-11.45am) and our cost is still £1.50, to be paid in cash upon arrival.

We absolutely cannot wait to welcome you back, and to welcome new faces too! See you soon!

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all ok. We miss you!

Just wanted to give you all a quick update.
For now, Bubble Six will remain closed. We are working on how and when we can safely reopen and we will update you all as soon as we can.

We also want to say a big GOOD LUCK to all the Bubble Sixers who started school this week or are starting next, we are so sad that we didn’t get to say a proper goodbye to you all, but we know you are going to do amazing!
We would love to one day throw you the summer party you should have had back in July, even if it’s on a winter weekend next year, so please keep in touch.

And to everyone who has had a lockdown Birthday, just imagine this is a virtual Barny Bear - 🎂!

IMPORTANT NEWS

Hi everyone,

Due to the unavailability of volunteers this week we have sadly had to make the decision to close Bubble Six early for the Easter holidays.

As it stands, there will be no sessions until Wednesday 15th April - we will update here if anything changes.

If you know of anyone who comes who isn’t on FB please can you pass this message on.
