Suitable for children who are walking up to 2¾ years old, this beautiful class is the perfect first step into ballet.

Led by Miss Eadie, each 30-minute session is filled with:

🎉 Wombourne Carnival is back for 2026 – just a few weeks to go! 🎉 🚜🐄🌾

It’s almost time for one of the village’s favourite summer events, so make sure it’s in your calendar!

This year’s theme is Down on the Farm 🚜🐄🌾 and one of the highlights is our Craft Fair inside the Council Chamber! 🧵Come and browse a fantastic range of handmade gifts, unique creations and beautiful local crafts – perfect for treating yourself or finding something special while supporting talented local makers. 🎁

Outside, there’s plenty more to enjoy throughout the afternoon:

Keep your garden looking its best and stay on track with your garden waste collections by renewing your subscription online today with South Staffordshire Council.

🗓️ Sign up before Monday 22nd June 2026 to ensure your bin is emptied from the first collection week beginning Monday 29th June 2026.

💷 Annual permit price: £49

📮 From June 2026, you will receive your new permit sticker by post. Please make sure the sticker is attached to your bin(s) before the new subscription year begins to avoid missed collections.

🌳 Sytch Lane Cemetery, Wombourne - We need your help to keep the cemetery a peaceful and respectful place of rest.

🔴 Unfortuantely, we have recently been made aware that deliberate damage has been caused to some of the trees at the cemetery.
🔴 Please remember that bike riding and unaccompanied children are not permitted in the cemetery.
🔴 Dogs are welcome, but MUST be kept on a lead at all times and owners must clean up after their pets.

South Staffordshire Local Plan Scoping Consultation – Have your say.

The Council is starting work on a new South Staffordshire Local Plan (SSLP) for the district. We are asking for your views at an early stage to help shape the plan through a scoping consultation, which is the first stage of public engagement in preparing the plan. The Scoping Consultation is the first chance for people to share their views on the issues and challenges that the SSLP should deal with and what the plan should include for example; homes, jobs, health and education services, and environmental protection.

The consultation runs from Wednesday, 10th June to midday on Wednesday, 22nd July 2026.

Please submit your comments using the council’s online engagement platform, Engage South Staffordshire, here: https://engage.sstaffs.gov.uk/projects/scoping-consultation, before midday on 22nd July 2026. The platform lets you read the consultation material and send us your comments.

🏡 Local Plan Consultation – Share Your Views
South Staffordshire Council has launched a public consultation on the proposed Main Modifications to the Local Plan Review, following examination hearings held throughout 2025 and early 2026.
The proposed changes have been recommended by Planning Inspectors to address matters relating to legal compliance and soundness.

📅 The consultation is now open and runs from Thursday 14th May until midday on Friday 26th June 2026.

Residents can view the proposed modifications and submit representations online
