Anyone interested in the Agora development should take a look here. If you would like to pop down to the town hall on Tuesday evening where we will be talking to the developers. Love Wolverton is a £25m project to redevelop the Wolverton Agora, bringing new homes and shops to Wolverton’s town centre and creating new streets that will reconnect Church Street and The Square.

Tomorrow I will be attending the Agora working group meeting discussing the redevelopment of the site by developers TOWN (http://www.wearetown.co.uk/)

Just to keep you up to date things are moving very quickly now. The council do however have a few concerns regarding some of the proposals. Specifically with regards to the car park and the stopping up of the road to the rear of the Agora going on the backroad of Buckingham Street and lack of consultation thereof.

To this end, the council's position is to object against this proposed stopping up of the highway until this can be discussed in more detail at the working group meeting.
