🚧 Reminder: M4 Weekend Closure This Weekend 🚧

If you're planning to travel this weekend, please allow extra time and plan your journey in advance.

📅 From 9pm Friday 18 September until 6am Monday 21 September.
❌ The M4 will be closed in both directions between Junction 10 (Winnersh) and Junction 11 (Three Mile Cross).
❌ Hatch Farm Way, Winnersh, will also be closed for the duration of the works.

⚡ SSEN will be carrying out specialist work to reconnect a new high-voltage electricity pylon to the wider network. The original pylon was damaged by a falling tree earlier this year and has since been replaced. These final connection works can only be completed safely under full road closures.

🔀 Diversions The signed diversion route will be via the A329(M) and B3270 Lower Earley Way.

🚗 Local roads around the closure and diversion route are likely to experience higher traffic levels throughout the weekend. Please consider this when planning your journeys.

⚠️ Thames Water – Barkham Road Update ⚠️

✅ Bearwood Road is now open and the temporary traffic lights at the mini roundabout have been removed.
⛔ The road closure is now in place on Barkham Road.
🚧 The Bearwood Road permit currently in place will have the traffic management amended to no carriageway incursion.
