Trevor Jones Campaign

Trevor Jones Campaign King's patient, Trevor Jones has launched a fundraising campaign for LIBRA after receiving treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

With the support of family and friends, he aims to raise £10,000 over the next 12 months. Trevor Jones was admitted to King's College Hospital in June 2012 after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. He endured six-months' treatment including four intensive rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant at the London Hospital. On March 1 The Trevor Jones Fundraising Campaign was launc

hed in support of The Lions International Blood Research Appeal (LIBRA). We are hoping to raise £10,000 to help experts develop and trial new treatments for leukaemia. LIBRA will donate the funds for the Haematology Department at King's. Without the latest treatments available at King's Trevor wouldn't have survived and we want to make sure that the haematology team can continue to develop new treatments for other leukaemia patients. It's so easy for people to join the British Bone Marrow Registry and by doing so you could save a life one day. If you would like to help Trevor Jones fundraise please email [email protected] or visit www.libralionscharity.org to find out how you can make a donation.
