Today we took 11 Year 5 children to a cricket tournament in Old Woking and they had a blast! For many this was their first cricket match against other schools and they gave it everything they had whilst still ensuring they supported each other.

The tournament was visited by Nathan Sowter who plays for MI London. Nathan was a great sport, signing everything from caps, bats, trainers and slightly warm socks!

Thank you to Mr Hardesty for taking them, parents for supporting and Surrey Cricket Foundation for organising the event.

It’s been a busy couple of days in the sporting calendar. A huge well done to the Year 3 and 4 children who represented us at WASPs quad kids at Hoe Valley yesterday. For many children this was the first time they had represented the school and not only did they take it in their stride, they demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship, ensuring they looked out for each other. A big thank you to Miss Cook for taking the children and to all the parents who supported too. 🎖

What a brilliant day we had at the zoo! The weather was kinder than it had been all week and the sun even came out too.☀️
Our children represented our school brilliantly and in fact members of the public commented on their super behaviour.
A huge well done to all the children and a big thank you to all the adults who made the day possible. 🌟

It was a rather wet Summer Forest School day for Kites (Year 5) today. However, they used the weather to their advantage and made their own dry dens, got stuck into crafts and even took on a bit of Summer cleaning (apparently the mud kitchen sink was so dirty it was driving them mad! ).

We know that many of our Year 6 children will be using the bus to get to and from school next year. Don't forget to apply for a Link card to halve the cost!
