The Mill is open Non Steaming every Wednesday for Self Guided Tours together with Riverside Tea Room. Combe Mill was once the steam and water powered sawmill and workshops serving the Blenheim Palace Estate. No longer a sawmill but the Beam Engine still operates and our volunteers have restored some woodworking machinery to working order. Our blacksmiths' forge is regularly lit to allow volunteers

and visitors to try their hand at making something. We are open Non- Steaming on every Wednesday until the end of October for self guided tours. On Wednesdays throughout the season, our Volunteers in the Tea Room will be selling light snacks and drinks which can be enjoyed in the Tea Room or the Picnic Area beside the River Evenlode. Our monthly Steaming Events for 2024 will be on the Third Sunday of the Month until 20th October with various themes, please see the posts on this page or our website www.combemill.org for details.

We are open on Wednesday Non-Steaming 10.30am until 4.30pm (last admission 3.30pm), for self guided Tours with Volunteers in some specialist areas. You can view the Beam Engine and Waterwheel which provided the power for the Victorian Blenheim Palace Sawmill. In addition to numerous Tradesmen's Tools, we have a selection of Turret Clocks and a Metal Turning area with several Drumond Lathes. The Blacksmiths will be working in the Forge.
Volunteers will be selling a variety of freshly prepared food and drinks from our Riverside Tea Room.
The Gift Shop will be open with a variety of Mill Menorabilia.
For younger Visitors there will be the Millie the Mill Cat Trails and Tinkering Area.

Combe Mill is open on Saturday 9th May Non-Steaming and In Steam on Sunday 10th May for the also "Mills on the Air" on both days with Members of the Banbury Amateur Radio Society speaking with enthusiasts throughout the Country and maybe into Europe.
On Saturday Viewing Only with Volunteers to assist & Blacksmiths working in the Forge.
Freshly Prepared light refreshments can be purchased from the Tea Room Steaming Day Menu on both days until 4.00pm & the Gift Shop open.

On Sunday, the Beam Engine, Small Industrial Steam Engines and Models will be operating and Volunteers situated in their Specialist areas including the Blacksmiths' Forge in operation, you may be able to have a go.
To entertain Younger Visitors, the Millie the Mill Cat Trail and Tinkering area will be available.
Bacon, Sausage & Beef Burger Baps will be available from the BBQ on Sunday only.
