Incredible! Well done Cllr Andrew Coles 👏🏻

Another big thank you this week! This time to Cllr Andrew Coles who has raised over £2200 with some wonderful events over the past year!

With personal experience of a loved one with a dementia diagnosis, Andrew was keen to support Dementia Oxfordshire - and we can't thank him enough.

One of our Locality Managers, Kerry Hyatt popped along to the West Oxfordshire District Council offices yesterday to collect the cheque!

The money will go towards our work supporting people living with dementia - and their families - across Oxfordshire.

Yesterday, we was awarded Highly Commended for Dementia Homecare Provider of the Year at the UK Dementia Awards 2026, and honestly, we are still a little lost for words.

Up against some truly amazing competition of equally dedicated and valuable homecare providers, being awarded this recognition means so much to us. So much of what makes our service what it is happens quietly, behind the scenes, and moments like this are a beautiful reminder of why we do it.

This recognition belongs to every single person who is part of the In Friendship family. To our office team who work tirelessly to keep everything running, and to our wonderful carers who show up every single day with warmth, dedication and compassion for every client in their care. You are what makes us special.

To our clients and their families, thank you for trusting us. And to our whole team, thank you for everything you give. 🧡💙

🎉 We are absolutely thrilled to share that In Friendship has been named a Finalist at the UK Dementia Awards 2026 in the category of Dementia Homecare Provider of the Year!

This recognition means the world to us. None of it would have been possible without our amazing team of carers, who turn up every single day with compassion, patience, and genuine love for the people they support. We are also so grateful to our wonderful clients and their families for trusting us with their care. It really is a privilege we never take for granted.

Tomorrow we head to the awards ceremony and we honestly can't wait. To every other finalist out there, we see the incredible work you do and we're rooting for all of you. 🌟
