Congratulations to everyone who took part in The Summer Reading Challenge 2026: Read to the Beat!

Well done to all the children who signed up, read books, collected rewards and joined in with library activities this summer. If you haven't quite finished yet, there's still time to complete your Challenge. Just visit your local library.

The Summer Reading Challenge website is available all year round, with activities, book recommendations and reading fun. Don't forget to try the Book Sorter, a great way for children to discover new books recommended by other children.

Keep reading and we'll see you next summer!

Code Club is coming to Witney Library!

Starting Saturday 19th September, Code Club will be launching!

Suitable for ages 8-12, these led sessions will help young people to learn coding or develop their skills with our coding volunteers. Code Club will run every other Saturday 10am-11am, term time only.

There are limited spaces so booking per child is essential, please visit us or contact us to book a place and for more information. Due to high demand, spaces will be released on the Monday following the previous session. This is a free session.

This is a drop off session, but parents and carers are welcome to remain in the library and encouraged to return 15 minutes before the end of the session to share the coder's project!
