CRHQ Army Reserve Opportunities

CRHQ AGC is the Corp’s National Reserve unit based at Worthy Down and part of the AGC HQ.

National Reserves are required to conduct a minimum of 19 Reserve Service Days (RSDs) to qualify for their annual Bounty. These RSDs will include role/trade specific employment plus mandatory training and more may be available subject to budgetary constraints. Dependant on the tasks being undertaken, individuals could be required to work at units or formations anywhere within the UK and there is also a requirement for attendance at Worthy Down to conduct mandatory training.

There are currently officer vacancies at Capt/Maj rank and soldier vacancies at all ranks from Pte to WO2. All of these vacancies are currently advertised on SERVE with differing closing dates for applications but the posts will be re-advertised until filled. Supporting Nepal – Our MPGS Community

The MPGS is made stronger by the people and communities that make up our Branch, and our Nepalese personnel form a significant and highly valued part of the MPGS family.

For many of our soldiers, Nepal is home. Following the recent devastating flooding, families and communities have been affected and are in need of essential support, including food, clean water, shelter, and medical supplies.

Two of our own from Redford Barracks, Ptes Pun and Gaha, have decided to do something to help.

From 1–10 October, they will each take on a 20km run every day to raise emergency funds for those affected – an incredible 200km each over just 10 days.

Every donation. Every share. Every kilometre. For Nepal.

This cause will be particularly close to the hearts of many across the MPGS. Our Nepalese colleagues are an important part of our Branch, and when communities back home are facing difficult times, we have an opportunity to show them that the wider MPGS family stands alongside them.

AGC Windsurfing Success at the Army & UKAF Championships

AGC Windsurfers recently competed at the 2026 Army and UKAF Windsurfing Championships, delivering some fantastic results and flying the flag for the Corps with distinction.

🥈 Cpl Hannah Jones (RMP) secured 2nd Place in the Intermediate Category at both the Army and UKAF Championships.
🥇 SSgt Jay Haig (RMP) achieved 1st Place in the Novice Category at both the Army and UKAF Championships.

Beyond competition success, both sailors have played an important role in supporting AGC Windsurfing throughout the year, helping to encourage participation and develop the sport across the Corps, with an AGC Start Windsurf Course will take place in October, providing an excellent opportunity for new participants to get involved and build towards competing at future championships.

Congratulations to Hannah and Jay on their outstanding achievements and for representing the Adjutant General’s Corps with such professionalism and success.

What a fantastic performance from AGC Netball at the Army Inter Corps Championships!

With three teams competing across Divisions 1, 2 and 3, AGC Netball achieved an incredible clean sweep, taking home all three championship titles! 👏
