CONQUERING THE MARATHON DES SABLES 🏅

After months of relentless training and preparation, Maj Dan Connolly, Maj Greg Dove, Capt Jasmine Woodford, Capt Patrick “Logan” Vinters and Capt Charlotte Rogerson, all AGC(ETS), conquered the infamous Marathon des Sables in April 2026 👏

Widely regarded as one of the toughest endurance events on the planet, the race pushed competitors to their physical and mental limits across the unforgiving Sahara Desert.

Alongside this incredible achievement, the team also raised a huge amount for charity, including an outstanding £3,936.50 for the AGC Charity. This vital funding will help continue support to our officers and soldiers, both serving personnel and veterans.

An exceptional achievement demonstrating resilience, teamwork and commitment of the very highest standard — we are immensely proud of them all 💪

A proud moment for the AGC Association as the Corps Colonel signed bonds of friendship with three of our veteran family associations during the Veterans & Heritage Event at the Triple Crown Challenge 2026.

This symbolic event signified the creation of formal bonds of friendship between the AGC Association and the RAPC Regimental Association, the RAEC & ETS Association and the WRAC Association. These bonds represent our shared commitment to collaboration, connection and supporting our veterans together.

More to come as we continue celebrating our incredible community.
