Western Church of England Primary is a very popular school, situated less than a mile to the west of Winchester city centre and is set in very attractive, extensive grounds. Our pupils are sociable, articulate and creative; they respond well to responsibility and challenge. They are eager to learn, resourceful and enthusiastic. Year R have four balance bike sessions this week and itโ€™s their cake sale on Friday after school. Year 6 will be trying to โ€˜make ยฃ5 growโ€™ after school on Wednesday and Thursday so donโ€™t forget your pocket money! Last half term Year 1 visited St Paulโ€™s church. They have been learning about special places and Mary, Rhiannon and Vicky told them about the special parts of the church. Year 4 used their team working skills to plan and build habitats and dens in Hazel Hill woods. They worked together, using natural materials, to construct their plans. It was great to see them using their school values when challenging themselves during construction. Well done Year 4!
