St Benedict's Catholic Primary School

St Benedict's Catholic Primary School We’re a warm, caring school where every child matters. By giving each child the support they need, we help them succeed academically and beyond.

Alongside core academic skills, children explore music, sport & arts — and we’re proud of every one of them!

Today, the Orchard went to the local community allotment, they were able to smell and taste, dig and sow, explore and build!

The children have been set holiday homework to see what they can create with their families with the produce they harvested today 🤤

🏏 A huge thank you to Cheshire Cricket for delivering such fantastic cricket sessions to our pupils this half term!

A special thank you as well for providing the free after-school cricket sessions — such a brilliant opportunity for our pupils to continue enjoying the sport outside of lesson time 👏

If your child is starting school in 2027, book a personal tour with our Headteacher to see our school in action, ask the questions important to you, and get a real feel for school life at St Benedict's.

You don’t have to be Catholic to apply — we welcome families of all faiths and none.

Come to see our one-form-entry school in action.

Dressed in red, yellow, and orange, our little ones joyfully celebrated the birth of the Church as we prepare our hearts for Pentecost 🔥❤️🧡💛

Through fun activities, sweet treats, and lots of smiles, we were reminded of the fire of the Holy Spirit that unites and fills us with God’s love.

Come, Holy Spirit! ✨🕊️

To our amazing Year 6s 🌟
We are so proud of the dedication, resilience, and hard work you’ve shown during SATs week. You’ve tackled every challenge with determination and a positive attitude, and it’s been incredible to watch your confidence grow each day.

All those early mornings, revision sessions, and moments of perseverance have truly paid off — and you’ve absolutely earned your rewards 🌭✨

Hot dogs, leavers’ jumpers, and celebrations are well deserved for such a fantastic group of pupils. Most importantly, remember that SATs do not define you — your kindness, effort, and character shine even brighter.

Welcome to our new permanent cooks, Kelly and Laura. Day one was excellent!

Kind and friendly service has been guaranteed every day since September and we know it will carry on with Kelly and Laura. Aspens have a great menu and the children are loving the food and the way it is presented.

After an inspiring visit to Glebe Farm, our Orchard children put their experiences into words by writing thoughtful thank you letters ✍️💚

Real-life experiences like these help us personalise our curriculum, giving every child meaningful opportunities to grow in confidence, develop their writing skills and make excellent progress. We are so proud of the care, creativity and gratitude shown in their work 🌱
