We’re looking for fantastic stallholders to join us at Whitstable Castle for a series of exciting 2026 events!

✨ Summer Fair Weekend (8th–9th August) – outdoor stalls only
🎶 Castle Fest – Family Music Festival (23rd August) – festival-style traders & merchandise only (no food vendors)
🎄 Christmas Market Weekend (5th–6th December) – indoor & outdoor stalls available

We’re especially keen to hear from a wide range of unique traders – from handmade goods and gifts to seasonal treats and creative makers.

🍭For Castle Fest, we’re looking for festival vibes – think glitter artists, boho crafts, face painters, accessories, and fun, interactive stalls!

Mayday 2026🎊
It's not long now! Monday, May 4th and the Mayday Celebrations at Whitstable Castle. Why not come and join in all the fun?

A record number of all kinds of stalls, a coconut shy and bouncy castle.

Free children's entertainment with Crayzee Hayzee’s Circus School and Punch and Judy shows.

Enjoy the performances of the Berzerk Dance and Performing Arts group, Tankerton Dance Academy and the wonderful music of the Rock Choir.

View the 620 posters created by local schoolchildren for the Mayday poster competition, on display around the castle grounds.

Be sure not to miss the Maypole Dancing workshop!

Welcome the Morris dancers as they dance their way from the town to perform on the terrace of the Castle.

Our allergy-friendly goodie bags are ready for this weekend, packed with treats so children can enjoy Easter safely.

Whitstable Castle will always be a special place for our family, so being able to come back and help make events like this more inclusive means a great deal to us.

Making Easter more inclusive for people with allergies.

We’re delighted to sponsor Whitstable Castle this Easter by helping provide free-from chocolate for their egg trail, donated courtesy of Tesco.

So more children with allergies can take part safely.

If you’re local, it’s a lovely family event with an Easter Egg Trail, face painting, a bouncy castle, crafts, and games.

🌸 May Day is coming to Whitstable Castle! Save the Date & Book your stall space! 🌸

Join us for the 51st May Day Celebrations on Monday 4th May in the beautiful grounds of Whitstable Castle from 11am. This much-loved local tradition is organised by the Whitstable, Herne Bay & Canterbury Lions Club and brings the whole community together every year.

Expect a fantastic family day out with:
✨ Morris dancing
✨ Jack in the Green
✨ Games and crafts
✨ Street festival
✨ Punch & Judy
✨ Bouncy castle
✨ Fun for all ages

The procession begins in the town and finishes in the castle gardens, followed by a full afternoon of entertainment and activities. It’s one of Whitstable’s longest-running traditions, not to be missed!

Come along, bring the family and celebrate the start of summer with us! 🌼

🌸🐣 EASTER FUN DAYS AT Whitstable Castle! 🐣🌸

Join us for a wonderful family Easter celebration at Whitstable Castle on Sunday 5th & Monday 6th April from 11am – 3pm for a day packed full of fun for all ages!

Follow the Easter Egg Trail, enjoy face painting, bouncy castle fun, Easter crafts, garden games and lots more surprises along the way. It’s the perfect way to spend a spring day with the family in the castle grounds. 🌼

We’re also incredibly grateful to our event sponsor, the amazing Sadie Bristow Foundation, who will be providing free-from Easter chocolate for the egg trail — generously donated by Tesco. This helps ensure that even more children can enjoy the fun safely. 💛
