We were joined by friends from across Whitefield and Bury today to get the word out about Labour councillor and candidate Noel Bayley.

Thanks to Christian Wakeford MP for lending a hand too.

ONE WEEK TO GO UNTIL THE ELECTIONS ON MAY 7 🗳️🌹

Councillor Noel Bayley works all year around for you, but in these next few weeks, we’re out every day to make sure people know about the election that’s coming up on 7 May.

Noel is your local candidate - with truly local priorities:

👉 Make sure the Live Well Centre is delivered and accessible to all

👉 Get the old garages off Victoria Square knocked down

👉 Hold National Highways to count on their works and improvement of Haweswater Tunnel

👉 Better drainage on Thatch Leach Lane Park

👉Demand better repairs from all landlord, including the council

(Promoted by Mary Whitby on behalf of Noel Bayley, both at Rutherford House, Suite 6B, Warrington Road, Birchwood, WA3 6ZH)

We were out speaking to residents on Mode Hill Lane on Saturday. Great to see it finally resurfaced after National Highways changed their plans for staff parking access for the Simister Island project. Anyone who attended the resident engagement events we have hosted in the last few years with the agency knows how unpopular it was.

We also went to neighbouring streets and reported block grids and potholes in the area ✅
