ival programme seeks to draw the highest quality small and medium theatre companies to bring diverse and innovative work to a local community that has had little exposure to theatre other than traditional popular seaside offerings. We hope that this will prove an inspiration for new young people to engage with performing arts and at the same time take the opportunity to engage local audiences to celebrate culture and sport, particularly as Dorset will be hosting the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic sailing events.
